Willkommen! Established in 2005, the “Golden Gate Bavarian Club” is a cultural interest organization in the SF bay area where tradition, music, dancing, good food and new friends meet!

Hosting a Bavarian/German/Alpine event and want to add some authentic cultural flair?

Our club offers a performative showcase of traditional music, authentic clothing, and lively alpine dances to help you create a vibrant cultural atmosphere at your event!

Do you enjoy dancing, music, or want to pick up a new hobby?

We hold regular dance/music practices in Alameda, followed by a Stammtisch social hour at the Speisekammer restaurant. There are no costs nor requirements to attend!

Is everyone in the club Bavarian?

No, our club is open to everyone! Most of our members have have German or Bavarian heritage, but some just like dancing and the camaraderie - and others just like the good German food, beer, and wine offered at our club potlucks and social events!
